Fellow QMU Student!

I'm Rio Floreza, your Student President (read Sabbatical Officer) for this next academic year 08/09.

It was quite an adventure as Sports and Societies Officer last year and I'm looking forward to a year of growth and recognition in areas such as Student Representation, Volunteering, Advice and Support as well as Community Relations in our local area and wider afield.

Get involved in our revamped Student Parliament, enjoy the benefits of our amazing Volunteer scheme, help us to help you through our Welfare service, and above all see the Union as exclusively, impartially and enthusiastically YOURS on all matters, both academic and non-academic.

The Union is at the heart of our new Campus and the team here are desperate to share with you what we can provide and where we think you can offer us your time, skills and ingenuity.

Make no mistake, the Union exists for your benefit and we are here to provide you with the service you deserve. Knowing what will enhance your Student Experience as you get involved and inform us will go such a long way to making the Union the abiding memory of your Student Days!
